She worked with many students in the preparation and mounting of the show and created an on-line exhibit publication for fashion design and history scholars.
She also organized the exhibit's symposium where she was a featured speaker.
Kathleen supervised 9 student guest contributors in her book, Altered Clothing.
In August 2006, she was a guest speaker at a Costume Society of America conference in Alexandria, VA where she presented a seminar based on the book.She currently teaches Junior level Studio Methods in the fashion design department at Parsons the New School for Design. She has been a faculty member there for 20 years. Her areas of specialization are pattern making, draping, construction and tailoring.
She is also beginning planning on an innovative educational website for fashion students.
